The premise
Humanity is suffering from a series of mysterious murders across the globe, known as the 'Mincemeat murders'. High school student Izumi Shinichi has a parasite living off him, having replaced his right hand, and he might be the discoverer of truth.

When a wave of grotesque, inexplicable killings sweeps across Japan, ordinary high school student Shinichi finds himself uniquely — and horrifyingly — bound to the very threat terrorising humanity. A parasite has taken hold of part of his body, forging an uneasy partnership that blurs the line between predator and host. Based on the landmark manga series, this live-action adaptation fuses coming-of-age drama with visceral creature horror. What begins as survival quickly spirals into a deeper reckoning with what it truly means to be human.
