A group of delinquents on their way to summer camp get stuck in a haunted house.

When a rowdy gang of city kids finds themselves stranded near a foreboding old mansion, they stumble into a night of frights, confusion, and laughs. The presence of a mysterious, sinister stranger — played with iconic menace by Bela Lugosi — keeps everyone on edge, including the audience. Equal parts comedy skit and haunted-house romp, this East Side Kids outing leans hard into its star power and screwball energy. It's a breezy slice of Golden Age horror-comedy that never takes itself too seriously.
