The premise
A violent electrical storm topples power lines into the rain soaked earth that is home for an aggressive breed of worms. The high voltage causes the worms to mutate into larger, hostile hordes of man-eating worms that lie in wait for the residents of Fly Creek.

When a ferocious electrical storm sends high-voltage current surging through the waterlogged Georgia soil, the local worm population undergoes a terrifying transformation. The sleepy rural community of Fly Creek suddenly finds itself besieged by writhing, ravenous hordes emerging from the very ground beneath their feet. What begins as an ordinary storm aftermath quickly spirals into a desperate fight for survival against an enemy no one could have anticipated. This 1970s creature feature taps into primal disgust and the unsettling idea that the earth itself can turn against you.
