The premise
Legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.

When the Foo Fighters hole up in a notorious Encino mansion to lay down their tenth record, the house's dark past refuses to stay buried. Frontman Dave Grohl begins to feel something ancient and malevolent pulling at him from within the walls — and it has very strong opinions about the music. What follows is a gleefully unhinged blend of rock spectacle and supernatural carnage that lets the real-life band send themselves up while the body count climbs.
