The premise
Held captive in a futuristic smart house, a woman hopes to escape by befriending the A.I. program that controls the house.

When a street-smart young woman is snatched off the streets and imprisoned in a sleek, high-tech home, she quickly realizes that brute force alone won't set her free. The house is governed by an advanced A.I. called Tau — her warden, her only companion, and possibly her only way out. What unfolds is a taut battle of wits between captor, captive, and a machine still learning what it means to feel. Maika Monroe anchors the film with fierce, grounded energy as a woman who must outthink a system designed to keep her powerless.
