The premise
Injured U.S. soldier Miles Willis awakens to discover he is trapped in a mysterious cube armed only with his combat gear. As Miles begins to question his sanity, he finds a lifeline – a voice on the other end of his satellite phone who claims to be a prisoner in a similar space. As the walls close in, these two strangers must put their heads together if they are to outwit their captors and unlock this deadly puzzle.

A wounded soldier regains consciousness inside a featureless cube with no memory of how he got there — only his combat gear and a satellite phone connecting him to a voice claiming to share his fate. With the environment itself seemingly working against him, Miles must decide how much he can trust an unseen stranger as both race to decode the logic of their confinement. The Abandon strips horror down to its most elemental form: a shrinking space, a fragile mind, and the desperate need to believe someone is on your side.
