The premise
After a lengthy space mission, two astronauts return to an Earth transformed by nuclear war. As renegade gangs and mutants rule Los Angeles, the astronauts join two pretty women and a couple of kids in a growing resistance movement.

Returning from a long space mission, two astronauts splash down to find Earth ravaged by nuclear war and society reduced to rubble. Los Angeles is now a brutal wasteland lorded over by violent gangs and twisted mutants, leaving ordinary survivors with nowhere to turn. The astronauts must quickly adapt from explorers to fighters as they align with a small band of women and children trying to carve out a future against overwhelming odds.
