Trapped in a suffocating existence, a middle-aged librarian has sacrificed her independence to tend to her domineering, wheelchair-bound father — her life quietly curdling into resentment and dark fantasy. What follows peels back the layers of a household hiding something deeply wrong beneath its respectable surface.
