The premise
A boy named Harley and his family attend a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley and business as usual for Rebecca, the producer of the series. But things take an unexpected turn - and the body count quickly rises. Can Harley, his mom and their new pals safely escape?

A birthday trip to a live taping of the beloved children's variety show The Banana Splits turns into a nightmare when the colorful, animatronic-style hosts begin behaving in ways no family audience could have anticipated. What starts as wholesome fun inside a TV studio rapidly descends into a bloody fight for survival. Young Harley and his mother must band together with terrified strangers to make it out alive — if they can at all. The film leans hard into the jarring contrast between its cheerful source material and genuinely vicious horror.
