The premise
Ted and his family have just moved to the sleepy coastal town of Gull Island so that he can complete work on his thesis. Everything couldn’t seem more picturesque about their new, seaside home… that is, except for the increasing number of aggressively behaving birds.

A family relocates to a quiet coastal island, trading the chaos of their previous life for what they hope will be peaceful simplicity — but the local wildlife has other plans. As birds begin exhibiting increasingly erratic and violent behavior, an idyllic seaside retreat transforms into something far more sinister. This made-for-TV sequel to Hitchcock's 1963 classic trades big-screen polish for a more intimate, domestic kind of dread. Fans of the original will recognize a familiar face in the cast, lending the film an intriguing sense of continuity.
