The premise
When a renegade band of young filmmakers break into an abandoned hospital to make their horror epic, they stumble upon a real dead body and decide to use it in their movie. They accidentally bring it back to life, open a portal to a dead world that releases dozens of other zombies, then struggle for their lives in a desperate attempt to flee from the creatures who apparently have them hopelessly trapped in the hospital.

A scrappy crew of indie filmmakers sneaks into a derelict hospital to shoot their low-budget zombie flick, only to discover that real horror is far messier than anything they could have scripted. A grim discovery on location sets off a chain of catastrophic events that turns their passion project into a genuine fight for survival. Packed with knowing genre references and practical splatter effects, the film wears its love of classic horror on its blood-soaked sleeve. Fans of late-night creature features will find plenty to chew on here.
