The premise
A computer whiz is yanked into a twisted digital world by the sadistic wizard Mestema and forced through a gauntlet of wild, deadly trials, from mutant goblins to metal mayhem, with his girlfriend’s soul on the line.

When a sadistic sorcerer drags a tech-savvy hero into a nightmarish digital realm, the only way out is through a relentless series of deadly, imagination-defying challenges. Armed with little more than his computer know-how and sheer determination, he must outlast monsters, mayhem, and madness to save the woman he loves. Part anthology, part fever dream, this 1984 cult oddity throws everything at the wall — and somehow makes the chaos part of the appeal. It occupies a strange, singular corner where early-80s computer obsession collides head-on with sword-and-sorcery schlock.
