The premise
An alcoholic actress, her personal assistant, and their pilot are downed on a secluded isle by bad weather, where a renegade Nazi scientist is using ocean life to develop a solvent for human flesh. The tiny flesh-eating sea critters that result certainly give our heroes a run for their money - and lives.

Stranded on a remote island by a sudden storm, a mismatched trio of castaways quickly realize the surrounding waters hide something far more lethal than bad weather. A sinister scientist with a dark past is conducting forbidden experiments on marine life, engineering microscopic organisms with a horrifying appetite for human flesh. Equal parts pulpy creature feature and early splatter, this 1964 curio pushes the boundaries of what drive-in audiences thought they could stomach. The remote setting and relentless biological menace make for a uniquely nasty slice of vintage horror.
