The premise

A giant asteroid is heading toward Earth so some astronauts disembark from a nearby space station to blow it up. The mission is successful, and they return to the station unknowingly bringing back a gooey green substance that mutates into one-eyed tentacled monsters that feed off electricity. Soon the station is crawling with them, and people are being zapped left and right!

When a crew of astronauts races to destroy a planet-killing asteroid, they return to their orbiting space station with more than just a successful mission under their belts. An unnoticed extraterrestrial residue begins to transform into voracious, electrically-charged creatures that multiply faster than the crew can contain them. Trapped in the cold void of space with monsters closing in from every corridor, the astronauts must fight for their lives against an enemy that seems to grow stronger with every attempt to stop it. Equal parts Saturday-matinee adventure and creature-feature mayhem, this late-60s cult classic delivers outrageous fun with a neon-green twist.
