The premise
A motocross team on their way to trial a new super-fuel head out across the desert lead by Rachel, who, unbeknownst to the rest of the group, is a survivor of the cannibal clan which menaced the Carter family several years before.

Years after the original cannibal nightmare in the Mojave, a motocross team cuts through the same unforgiving desert on a racing errand — not knowing that one of their own carries a secret connection to the savage clan lurking in the wasteland. When the group becomes stranded far from help, the mutant killers close in once more. This low-budget sequel trades suburban-family dread for road-trip vulnerability, with the desert itself feeling like an inescapable trap. Fans of the original will recognize a familiar face or two on both sides of the hunt.
