The premise
When a vintage Jack-in-the-box is opened by a dying woman, she enters into a deal with the demon within that would see her illness cured in return for helping it claim six innocent victims.

A terminally ill woman makes a desperate pact with an ancient demon lurking inside an antique Jack-in-the-box, trading her chance at survival for something far more sinister. The creature within is no mere toy — it is patient, predatory, and has very specific terms for the deal it strikes. As the body count begins to climb, those around her are drawn unwittingly into a deadly arrangement they never agreed to. This sequel raises the stakes of its predecessor with a story rooted in bargain, betrayal, and the monstrous cost of self-preservation.
