The premise
Young socialite Iris Carr befriends an older woman while traveling solo by train. When Iris wakes from a nap, the woman is gone and other passengers claim she never existed.

Stranded in an unfamiliar country, carefree socialite Iris Carr strikes up an unlikely friendship with a warm older woman during a long train journey home — only to wake and find the woman has completely vanished. Worse, every fellow passenger insists the woman never boarded at all, leaving Iris to question her own sanity. What begins as a puzzling disappearance slowly tightens into a claustrophobic battle of wills aboard a moving train with nowhere to run. This modernised reimagining of the classic story keeps the paranoia dialled high and the loyalties deliciously murky.
