Horror Vault's take
A successful businessman awakens with no memory of how he ended up imprisoned in a strange open-air cell dominated by an ancient grist mill — and quickly discovers that survival means becoming little more than a work animal. With the clock ticking toward his child's birth, he desperately searches for a way out of a system that seems designed to grind him down completely. The film uses its near-future corporate dystopia setting to probe unsettling questions about power, exploitation, and what it truly means to be treated as less than human. Part visceral thriller, part dark allegory, it keeps the screws turning from start to finish.
