The premise
During a raging snowstorm, a drifter returns home to the blue-collar bar located in the remote Canadian town where he was born. When he offers to settle an old debt with a grizzled bartender by telling him a story, the night's events quickly spin into a dark tale of mistaken identities, double-crosses and shocking violence.

A drifter trudges through a punishing Canadian snowstorm to reunite with the bartender of his hometown dive bar, carrying nothing but an old debt and a story to trade against it. What begins as a tense two-hander across a scarred wooden bar gradually unfolds into a labyrinth of nested narratives, each one darker and more treacherous than the last. The claustrophobic setting and bitter cold seep through the screen as the line between storyteller and story begins to blur in unsettling ways.
