The premise
An American horror writer, haunted by childhood nightmares, moves to an old mansion in Italy with her husband and young son only to discover the nightmares were real.

A successful American horror novelist relocates her family to a sprawling Italian estate, hoping for a fresh start — but the childhood terrors she once dismissed as bad dreams begin to feel disturbingly present. Something ancient and malevolent seems to have taken up residence within the mansion's walls, and it has a particular interest in her young son. This Italian TV movie leans on creeping dread and gothic atmosphere rather than outright shock, drawing viewers into a world where the line between imagination and reality dissolves.
