The premise
Christmas break, 1971. Samantha and Clara, two students who are staying behind for the holidays at their boarding school, must survive the night after the arrival of uninvited visitors.

It's Christmas 1971, and most students have gone home — but two girls left behind at a remote New England boarding school find their quiet holiday shattered when dangerous strangers force their way in. What begins as a home-invasion nightmare quickly reveals far darker, ritualistic intentions. The film leans into its period setting and intimate location to build suffocating dread, pitting its unlikely protagonists against forces that go well beyond the merely human. Think yuletide cheer stripped away to expose something ancient and very hungry underneath.
