The premise
A group of young journalists investigate a cult said to practice human sacrifice, but their ambitious ways may lead them to becoming the cult's next victims.

When a group of journalists follows a missing-persons trail to a remote village, they stumble onto a secretive community with very dark traditions. The locals are hostile, the fog never lifts, and the team quickly realizes that curiosity may have brought them somewhere they cannot leave. What begins as an investigative trip descends into a fight for survival against forces both human and otherworldly. The Shrine delivers its scares with old-fashioned conviction, blending cult dread with visceral horror to genuinely unsettling effect.
