When a troubled teenage girl begins channeling something far darker than ordinary adolescent anger, the accidents that befall those around her grow harder to dismiss as coincidence. Her mother senses the terrifying truth first — but knowing it and stopping it are very different things. Set against the suffocating backdrop of a seemingly normal family home, this 1977 TV movie draws its dread from the tension simmering beneath everyday life. Think Carrie's spiritual cousin, quieter in execution but no less disturbing in implication.
