In a quiet Mexican town, a fallen meteorite harbors something extraordinary — a creature whose unearthly presence begins to bleed into the lives of an unhappy couple and the people around them. Director Amat Escalante weaves together domestic tension, repressed longing, and visceral unease into something that defies easy categorization. The alien at the story's heart operates less like a monster and more like a dark mirror, reflecting the hungers and frustrations its human visitors can't otherwise express. Sensual, strange, and deliberately provocative, this is art-horror at its most unsettling.
