Set against the backdrop of 1950s Los Angeles, this limited anthology series follows a Black family who relocates to an all-white neighborhood in Compton, where the hostility of their new community takes on something far more sinister than mere prejudice. The terror they face operates on both a visceral, human level and a supernatural one, blurring the line between social horror and something ancient and malevolent. Each episode peels back another layer of dread, making it impossible to look away even as the darkness deepens.
