The premise
Earl Bassett's celebrity after defeating the Graboid attack against the town of Perfection has proved short-lived, until he's recruited by a Mexican oil company whose workers have found more than they bargained for under the soil.

Earl Bassett, once a celebrated monster-slayer, finds his fame has faded fast — until a Mexican oil company comes calling with a very familiar underground problem. Recruited to hunt Graboids terrorizing the remote refinery grounds, Earl teams up with an unlikely crew to go on the offensive. The worms, however, may not be quite the same creatures he remembers from Perfection, keeping both hunters and audience on their toes. Equal parts creature-feature chaos and tongue-in-cheek humor, this sequel leans hard into the fun of its predecessor.
