The premise
In the near future, after an unspecified holocaust, survivors are herded into prison camps. There, they are hunted for sport by the leaders of the camp. Paul, one of the newest prisoners, is determined not to go down as quietly as the others.

Set in a bleak post-apocalyptic future, Turkey Shoot drops prisoners into a brutal camp regime where the powerful elite treat human lives as disposable entertainment. Captives are released into the wilderness and hunted for sport by their sadistic overseers — a vicious game with no rules and no mercy. Australian exploitation cinema at its most uncompromising, the film channels savage energy into a pointed satire of authoritarian control. One defiant prisoner refuses to be easy prey, and his resistance sets the stage for spectacular, blood-soaked chaos.
