The premise

The members of WINR (pronounced "Winner") respond when members of the alien Baltan race attack Earth, but the Baltans are only fended off when a gigantic alien, Ultraman Powered, joins with WINR member Kenichi Kai and gives him the power to metamorphose into Ultraman in times of danger. At the end of the first episode Ultraman declares that the Baltans were not completely defeated and that he will remain on Earth to continue the fight. WINR and Ultraman destroy numerous other monsters, but WINR learns that the Baltans were arranging all the battles to learn Ultraman's strengths and weaknesses

When a hostile alien race launches an assault on Earth, the elite task force WINR finds itself outmatched — until a colossal extraterrestrial being bonds with one of their own, granting him the ability to transform into the mighty Ultraman Powered. Together, WINR and their giant protector battle a relentless parade of monsters threatening humanity's survival. But as the dust settles after each clash, a deeper and more calculated threat begins to take shape behind the chaos. This 1993 American co-production brings the classic tokusatsu formula to a new audience with updated monsters and high-energy action.
