The premise
One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one...only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening.

A year after her sister's baffling disappearance, Clover leads a group of friends into the isolated valley where she was last seen — and quickly discovers the place holds horrors far worse than unanswered questions. What begins as a desperate search for the truth devolves into a nightmare of brutal, escalating violence with no apparent escape. Each time death comes for the group, they find themselves snapped back to the start of the same cursed night, forced to relive the terror with no guarantee the next run will end any differently. Drawing on its video-game origins, the film revels in inventive carnage and a mounting sense that something ancient and deeply wrong haunts this valley.
