The premise
Attacked by vampire, Spring, a born loser is saved by three street cleaners. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a government secret facilities hidden in a garbage collection station. Spring then discovers that he has a special immunity to vampire attack, making him a perfect candidate as agent of the secret organisation, the Vampire Cleanup Department.

When a down-on-his-luck young man survives a vampire attack against all odds, he's recruited by a clandestine Hong Kong government unit that keeps the city's undead problem firmly under wraps. Operating out of a garbage collection station, the Vampire Cleanup Department is stranger — and more dangerous — than anything he could have imagined. This Hong Kong genre mash-up blends martial arts action with classic vampire lore and plenty of laughs, carrying a clear affection for the jiangshi films of the 1980s. Expect colourful characters, scrappy charm, and fangs with a sense of humour.
