When a wealthy Italian patriarch dies under murky circumstances, his restless spirit refuses to accept that fate — and begins reaching out from beyond to uncover what the living would rather keep buried. His estranged daughter Rosy is the one soul who still grieves him, and with her medical student boyfriend at her side, she starts pulling at threads that those around her would prefer stayed intact. Director Lucio Fulci brings his trademark atmosphere to this late-career mystery, blending ghostly unease with a whodunit sensibility that keeps suspicion circling through a cast of conveniently unbothered mourners.
