The premise
After several female motorists begin disappearing en route to Twin Falls, a Hollywood screenwriter and the cousin of his bride-to-be discover that they've all been abducted by the mysterious Dr. Marlowe, who is attempting to resurrect his dead wife.

When young women start vanishing along a lonely stretch of highway, a chance detour pulls a Hollywood screenwriter and his future bride's cousin into a deeply unsettling conspiracy. At the center of it all is the eccentric Dr. Marlowe, who harbors a desperate, darkly supernatural obsession that has claimed more than one innocent victim. Classic horror royalty Bela Lugosi, John Carradine, and George Zucco share the screen in this B-movie chiller steeped in voodoo mysticism and vintage dread. Fans of Golden Age horror will find plenty to relish in its atmospheric, pulpy thrills.
