The premise
The parents of a girl who was killed by a savage dog are granted the opportunity to spend three days with their deceased daughter.

Deep in the Irish countryside, a couple shattered by the violent death of their young daughter discover that the enigmatic community they've settled among harbors an ancient ritual — one that promises the unthinkable: three more days with the child they lost. What begins as an act of desperate, unconditional love quickly reveals that some doors, once opened, carry a terrible price. Wake Wood is a slow-burn folk horror steeped in grief, atmosphere, and the creeping dread of rural pagan tradition.
