The premise
Years ago, they pulled a disastrous childhood prank on the neighborhood ice cream delivery man that got him killed, but now as they've become adults with families of their own, the last thing anyone expected was for that man to come back in the form of a vengeful, bloodthirsty spirit.
Horror Vault's take
A group of adults thought they had buried the guilt of a terrible childhood mistake long ago — but the past refuses to stay dead. The ice cream man they wronged as kids is back, and he has a very particular score to settle with each of them and the families they've built. This creepy TV movie leans into the dread of old wounds reopening, wrapping a ghost story around themes of accountability and suburban complacency. William Forsythe brings an unsettling presence to the screen in what is a surprisingly dark entry in the Masters of Horror-adjacent TV horror space.
