The premise
On a night when thunder and lightning strike, the deceased grandfather returns home as a zombie. Eighteen-year-old granddaughter Seohyun leads her family to launch an operation to kill the grandfather who became a zombie.

When a stormy night brings an unwelcome resurrection, eighteen-year-old Seohyun finds herself leading her family through a crisis no one could have planned for — grandpa is back, and he's not the man they remembered. What unfolds is a darkly comedic battle for survival within the walls of a home that suddenly feels very dangerous. Equal parts family chaos and zombie mayhem, the film mines laughs and scares from the absurdity of confronting a monster you once loved. Expect a Korean horror-comedy with a distinctly domestic edge.
