The premise
When a zombie virus pushes Korea into a state of emergency, those trapped on an express train to Busan must fight for their own survival.

A high-speed train becomes a pressure cooker of terror when a rapidly spreading zombie outbreak overtakes South Korea, trapping a disparate group of passengers in steel carriages with nowhere to run. Among them, a workaholic father and his young daughter are forced to fight alongside strangers as the infection closes in from every direction. Equal parts adrenaline-fueled action and raw human drama, the film refuses to let spectacle overshadow the emotional stakes riding on every carriage.
