The premise
An American man unwittingly gets involved with werewolves who have developed a serum allowing them to transform at will.

A carefree American tourist in Paris finds his European adventure taking a horrifying turn when a chance encounter pulls him deep into a hidden underworld of werewolves stalking the City of Light. The film blends creature-feature mayhem with dark comedy as its hapless hero scrambles to survive forces far beyond anything he bargained for. This late-nineties sequel trades old-school practical effects for CGI-heavy transformation sequences and leans into its pulpy, tongue-in-cheek tone throughout.
