The premise
A pair of hard-boiled Tokyo cops are investigating a gruesome murder: after killing the victim, the murderer cut his skull open and cooked his brain in a stew. As they try to track down the killer, they discover that, quite literally, everybody is a suspect. Will they bring the terror to an end, or will they become part of it themselves?

In the neon-lit sprawl of Tokyo, two seasoned detectives are pulled into a deeply disturbing case when a victim is found with their skull cracked open and brain cooked into a stew. The investigation spirals far beyond conventional crime as the nature of the killer defies everything the detectives thought they knew about murder and motive. With every new lead raising more terrifying questions than answers, no one around them can be fully trusted — including themselves. This Japanese genre-blender merges hard-boiled police procedural with something far darker and more otherworldly.
