The premise

The third entry in the notoriously low-budget Birdemic franchise returns to sun-soaked coastal California, where a blossoming romance between two locals is rudely interrupted by a murderous swarm of sea eagles. Shot with the same gleefully earnest, no-frills sensibility that made the series a cult phenomenon, it leans hard into campy creature-feature chaos on the shores of Santa Cruz. Fans of aggressively amateur filmmaking will find plenty to love — or lovingly mock — as birds, bullets, and bad CGI converge on an unsuspecting seaside community.
