The premise

For years, Blade has fought against the vampires in the cover of the night. But now, after falling into the crosshairs of the FBI, he is forced out into the daylight, where he is driven to join forces with a clan of human vampire hunters he never knew existed—The Nightstalkers. Together with Abigail and Hannibal, two deftly trained Nightstalkers, Blade follows a trail of blood to the ancient creature that is also hunting him—the original vampire, Dracula.

Blade, the half-human half-vampire Daywalker, finds himself cornered from two directions at once — government agents closing in from the outside world and an ancient predator stalking him from the shadows. Forced out of his solitary war, he reluctantly teams up with the Nightstalkers, a younger generation of vampire hunters who bring their own arsenal and attitude to the fight. The trail leads to a threat far older and more powerful than any Blade has faced before — the original vampire himself. The third chapter in the trilogy trades brooding atmosphere for high-octane action and sharp-edged banter.
