Something invisible and extraterrestrial has touched down in the Texas countryside, and the locals aren't taking it well — unless you count turning into pale, bloodthirsty maniacs as a kind of community bonding. A young photographer and his girlfriend stumble into the chaos and quickly realize the infected are multiplying faster than the authorities can bumble through their investigation. Equal parts creature feature and backwoods farce, this low-budget 1984 oddity leans hard into its cheesy charm and never apologizes for it.
