Cashing in on the Blair Witch phenomenon, a group of strangers signs up for a commercial tour through the infamous Maryland woods — only to wake up with no memory of the night before and evidence that something has gone terribly wrong. As they retreat to the safety of everyday life, the group's grip on reality begins to fracture in deeply disturbing ways. Book of Shadows trades the original's raw found-footage aesthetic for a more polished, psychologically slanted nightmare that asks whether the real horror lives in the woods or inside the mind. What follows is a descent into paranoia that keeps viewers second-guessing every character — and every image on screen.
