The premise
A boy declares his love for his girlfriend, only to die the same night. He is brought back to life by his mother as a flesh-craving zombie, who sires more teen undead while trying to control his, er, appetite for his beloved.

When a lovesick Irish teenager meets an untimely end, his desperate mother turns to forbidden means to bring him back — with messy, flesh-hungry consequences. Navigating a zombie outbreak among his own schoolmates while struggling to keep his instincts in check around the girl he adores, the undead Romeo finds that romance has never been more complicated. This Irish horror-comedy leans hard into gore and laughs in equal measure, channeling the irreverent spirit of early Peter Jackson splatter fare with a distinctly Celtic twist.
