The premise
A one-handed madman (he lost the hand while escaping a hanging) uses various detachable devices as murder weapons to gain revenge on those he believes have wronged him.

A cunning and unhinged killer — left handless after a botched execution escape — returns to settle scores using a grim array of interchangeable prosthetic weapons. Set against the shadowy backdrop of a wax museum, the film blends Victorian-era Grand Guignol spectacle with a serial-killer thriller. Investigators must race to stop the escalating carnage before the body count climbs higher. Originally released with gimmicky on-screen 'horror' warnings before its most shocking moments, it wears its exploitation roots proudly.
