The premise
When a serial killer interrupts the fun at the swanky Coconut Pete's Coconut Beach Resort -- a hedonistic island paradise for swingers --- it's up to the club's staff to stop the violence ... or at least hide it!
Horror Vault's take
Coconut Pete's tropical resort promises sun, sin, and nonstop party vibes — but a machete-wielding killer has very different plans for the guests and staff. As bodies begin to pile up, the employees find themselves caught between solving a murder mystery and keeping the whole mess under wraps. Mixing slasher thrills with broad comedy, Club Dread plays the genre both for laughs and genuine suspense. Fans of horror spoofs will find plenty to enjoy in this sun-soaked slice of mayhem.
