The premise
A young Vienna-based taxi driver of Turkish origin witnesses an extremely brutal murder. The perpetrator, a serial killer, makes eye contact with her; a deadly game of cat-and-mouse ensues.

When a Vienna taxi driver accidentally witnesses the brutal aftermath of a serial killer's work — and locks eyes with the perpetrator — she becomes his next target. What follows is a razor-tense pursuit through the underbelly of the Austrian capital, where the hunter and the hunted are more evenly matched than either expects. Fueled by martial arts training and sheer will, the protagonist refuses to simply run and hide, turning a desperate situation into something fiercer. Cold Hell is a visceral, street-level thriller with a brutally human edge.
