The premise

Oliver, a lonely autistic boy, seeks solace and refuge in his ever-present cell phone and tablet. When a mysterious creature uses the boy's devices against him, his parents must fight to save their son from the monster beyond the screen.

Horror Vault's take

Oliver is a non-verbal autistic boy who finds comfort in the glow of his screens — but something lurking beyond the digital world has noticed him. A shadowy, otherworldly creature begins using his beloved devices as a doorway into his life, and his increasingly desperate parents must confront a terror they can barely perceive. Come Play wraps genuine heartbreak around its monster-movie thrills, grounding supernatural dread in the very real anxieties of raising a child who sees the world differently. It's a creature feature with emotional weight that lingers long after the credits roll.
