The premise
An ex-Navy seal, his girlfriend and their friends head out on a road trip to New Orleans. The group decides to stop at a roadside convenience store owned by Chopper, who tells them the tale of Lockjaw, a fabled god-like creature who is half-man, half-alligator.

A road trip to New Orleans takes a deadly detour when a group of friends stumbles upon the backwoods legend of Lockjaw — a monstrous half-man, half-alligator creature said to haunt the surrounding swamplands. Warned by a cryptic local storekeeper, the group soon discovers that some legends have very real teeth. What begins as a pit stop spirals into a desperate fight for survival deep in the Louisiana bayou. Fans of creature-feature carnage will find plenty to sink into here.
