The premise
Murders, with victims dying from spines broken by brute strength, erupt in the city and the killers, when encountered, walk away unharmed by police bullets which strike them. A police doctor's investigation of the deaths leads to the discovery of an army of dead criminal musclemen restored to life, remotely controlled by a vengeful former crime boss and a former Nazi scientist, from the latter's laboratory hidden in the suburbs.

When a string of impossible murders grips the city — victims killed by inhuman strength and gunmen who cannot be stopped by bullets — a police doctor finds himself pulled into a deeply unsettling investigation. What he uncovers points to a clandestine suburban laboratory, a disgraced Nazi scientist, and a ruthless crime boss with a score to settle. This 1955 B-movie fuses atomic-age paranoia with walking-dead menace to deliver a pulpy, fast-paced chiller. The threat is relentless, and the science behind it is just plausible enough to unsettle.
