The premise

When a group of ambitious film students resurrect an ill-fated horror production that claimed its director's life years earlier, history threatens to repeat itself in the most gruesome way possible. Set against the backdrop of the Australian film industry, Cut gleefully skewers the slasher genre from the inside out, blending sharp meta-humor with genuine kill-scene thrills. The unfinished film seems to carry a deadly curse all its own, and the cast and crew quickly discover that some projects are better left abandoned.
